The VMware vSphere (VCP-DCV) | Data Center Virtualization with vSphere 8 training at WebAsha Technologies in Pune is a hands-on program on VMware vSphere, a widely used data-center virtualization platform. The course follows the VMware Certified Professional: Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification.

You install, configure and manage a complete virtual infrastructure: the ESXi hypervisor and vCenter Server, creating and managing virtual machines, templates and clones, virtual networking (standard and distributed switches), storage (VMFS, NFS, iSCSI and vSAN concepts), resource management (CPU, memory, resource pools), vMotion and Storage vMotion, high availability (vSphere HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and backup, monitoring and troubleshooting on vSphere 8.

The VCP-DCV 2024 exam (2V0-21.23) tests these skills. Broadcom, which now owns VMware, still publishes the VCP-DCV page and the 2V0-21.23 exam guide. Its 2026 certification paths, however, list only the newer VMware Cloud Foundation 9 certifications such as VCP-VVF Administrator (exam 2V0-16.25), and candidates on Broadcom's community forum report that 2V0-21.23 stopped being scheduled in December 2025.
