Live instructor-led online classes for Jaipur learners

The OSCP+ | Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PEN-200) training at WebAsha Technologies in Jaipur prepares you for OffSec's PEN-200: Penetration Testing with Kali Linux course and the exam that follows it.

OffSec's current syllabus has 19 modules. They cover information gathering, vulnerability scanning, web application and client-side attacks, locating and fixing public exploits, antivirus evasion, password attacks, Windows and Linux privilege escalation, tunneling, the Metasploit Framework and three Active Directory modules.

The exam is a proctored 23-hour-45-minute hands-on test, and you then have 24 hours to write and upload the report. Since the 2024 update, a pass earns both the OSCP, which does not expire, and the OSCP+, which is valid for three years. WebAsha's offensive-security trainers and cyber-range labs give you practice on similar targets, and the course keeps to OffSec's 'Try Harder' approach.

  • Privilege escalation: Windows and Linux systems.
  • Pivoting & tunneling: Reaching internal networks through tunnels.
  • Active Directory: Enumeration, authentication attacks and lateral movement.
  • Reporting: Writing a penetration-test report.

Requirements:

You should be comfortable with Linux and the command line. Online participants need a stable internet connection and a laptop or desktop for the live labs.

Prerequisites:

OffSec sets no formal prerequisites. It strongly recommends a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, reasonable Windows and Linux administration experience, and familiarity with basic Bash or Python scripting.

Career benefits:

OSCP can lead to senior offensive-security roles. In India, OSCP-certified penetration testers typically earn ₹6 LPA to ₹38+ LPA as they gain experience.

Learning from Jaipur

Cyber Security for learners in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

About Jaipur

Rajasthan's capital combines a large heritage tourism economy with gem cutting and jewellery, block-print textiles and handicraft exports. IT and back-office operations have grown in Mahindra World City and Sitapura on the city's southern edge. Jewellery exporters, hotels and online craft sellers in Jaipur handle card payments and international customer data, while banking operations in Mahindra World City run formal security controls.

Who learns from Jaipur

Students from MNIT, LNMIIT, Manipal University Jaipur and the private engineering colleges along Sitapura and Jagatpura make up a large group, alongside staff at Mahindra World City IT and BPO units. Families running jewellery and textile export houses also send younger members for data and security skills.

Attending online

Mahindra World City sits far down the Ajmer Road side of the city, and a round trip from Vidhyadhar Nagar or the walled city eats much of an evening. Logging into WebAsha's live online class from home, on IST timings set, is far simpler, and sessions are recorded.

Cyber Security career scope in Jaipur

Cyber Security jobs in Jaipur

Jaipur's security work spans the formal offices of Mahindra World City and the family firms of Johari Bazaar. In Mahindra World City, banking operations such as Deutsche Bank's run documented access, monitoring and audit controls, and Infosys and Genpact handle client data under contractual security requirements. In the walled city and Sitapura, jewellery exporters, hotels and online craft sellers take international card and wire payments and face phishing and payment fraud with little in-house expertise.

MNIT Jaipur, LNMIIT and Manipal University Jaipur supply most of the graduates who move into analyst roles. A practical Jaipur sequence is networking, Linux and CompTIA Security+, followed by CEH for penetration testing or a cloud-security track for those at MWC firms. Evening IST batches and recordings fit employees on BPO shifts in Mahindra World City, and the 24x7 labs suit anyone finishing a late shift out on Ajmer Road.

For students & freshers in Jaipur

Engineering students in Jagatpura, Sitapura and around Malviya Nagar, together with MNIT, LNMIIT and Manipal University Jaipur undergraduates, have local IT employers in Mahindra World City but face stiff competition for each fresher opening. WebAsha's job-oriented programs and online internships help an LNMIIT or Jagatpura student build project work during college, such as configuring a secure network, deploying an application on AWS or analysing a hotel booking dataset, so an interview has something concrete to discuss.

Live IST classes run in the evening after lectures, and recordings and 24x7 labs cover exam periods at the University of Rajasthan or RTU-affiliated colleges. Once complete, freshers can join the placement-guarantee program and target MWC firms, metros or remote roles. Students from Sanganer textile or walled-city hotel families can also apply the same projects inside the family business. WebAsha runs no classroom in Jaipur or elsewhere in Rajasthan; the program is delivered online.

Tech community in Jaipur

Meetups, chapters and events near you

Jaipur's most active developer community is GDG Jaipur, which runs DevFest Jaipur each year along with Build with AI sessions and hackathons. Several colleges have their own GDG on Campus chapters too, including Poornima University and LNMIIT. On the security side, null has a Jaipur chapter, and OWASP Jaipur hosted events in the past, though that chapter is listed as inactive for now.

A learner taking an online cloud, AI or cybersecurity course can use DevFest and the hackathons as a place to test new skills under real time pressure. Talking to speakers after a session is a simple way to find someone who can review your work. If you study security, keeping an eye on null Jaipur for meetups is worth the effort.

“Enrolling in OSCP Penetration Testing with Kali Linux at WebAsha is one of the best career decisions I have made. The syllabus covered ethical hacking, reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation and penetration testing in a safe lab in real depth rather than skimming the surface. Live projects gave me the confidence to apply what I learned in a real environment. The batch was slightly large at times, yet the hands-on focus and support made it well worth it.”
