Training Overview:
The training follows the nine objectives of the current Vault Associate (003) exam. You learn how clients authenticate to Vault, how policies and tokens control access, and how leases are renewed and revoked. Then you work with secrets engines (KV, dynamic, database, PKI), use the transit engine for encryption as a service, and study how Vault is sealed, stored and deployed. The course goes well with Terraform training.

Pre-Requisites:
HashiCorp lists basic terminal skills, an understanding of on-premises or cloud architecture and an understanding of security as prerequisites. Terraform knowledge helps but is not required.
